Accucus was formed when UAE corporate tax turned bookkeeping from an administrative chore into a compliance risk.
Most of the businesses that come to us are not badly run — they are simply carrying books that were never designed to be examined. Ledgers kept for VAT, spreadsheets kept for the bank, and an opening balance nobody has agreed in three years. Our work starts by reconciling that reality, then keeping it reconciled.
At the other end of the market we support large entities and groups whose finance teams are capable but stretched: financial statements preparation and review under IFRS, and ICOFR frameworks that stand up to an external auditor’s walkthrough.

Asad Ahmed is the Founder and Managing Director of Accucus Chartered Accountants, a venture he launched in 2024 to provide high-quality accounting and auditing services to clients across various industries and regions. His mission is to leverage his extensive experience, credentials and network in the financial sector to deliver value-added solutions and insights to clients and partners.
He brings over nine years of professional experience in financial reporting, analysis and auditing, with a proven track record of excellence and leadership. An ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) member, he holds strong knowledge of accounting standards, regulations and best practices. Prior to founding Accucus, he worked with leading organisations including KPMG and InstaShop.
His goal is to create value for clients, partners and stakeholders, and to contribute to the growth and development of the financial sector and the wider economy — the pillars on which Accucus is built.
